- Notes: PokaPoka is a variant of SearchMiracle.EliteBar (a.k.a. YupSearch) that downloads the PokaPoka backdoor trojan. It is downloaded together with a traditional elite***32 file.
- PokaPoka can be removed by the SimplyTech freeware Elite Toolbar Remover and by the LQfix freeware removal tool. The LQfix tool must be run in Safe Mode for this infection.
- Ewido Security Suite trialware can remove the active files of this infection. For variants PokaPoka76.exe and later, the Ewido Security Suite should be run prior to the Elite Toolbar Remover or LQfix tools in order to remove all vestiges of the infection.
